As has been previously notified in various club newsletters the rally this year, like last year, is a MID-WEEK rally NOT a weekend rally - so you should all be aware of this. It will be taking place from Tuesday 10th to Thursday 12th December (using the normal 2-night approach). You can attend from Sunday 8th or Monday 9th if you wish (to make it 4 or 3 nights) and/or stay until Friday 13th (i.e. including Thursday night) if you wish to have a longer stay. So 2, 3, 4 or 5 nights (please also see below).
We have 74 pitches reserved for us - pitches on both the North (original part of the site) and the South (newer part of the site) areas.

Those of you that have attended this rally before know how popular it is. Those of you that do not know the site - this is an adult only site where we have the use of the Clubhouse for our Christmas meal. As there will be many of us attending this rally, we have to split the group into two (as we have had to in previous years) and have our Christmas meals on Tuesday & Wednesday evenings. We also have entertainment booked for each evening (paid for by the club). The menu and costs for the meal will be provided nearer the time.

The cost for the pitch for each night is £34.00 per unit (this is an increase from last year, but a reduction on the normal cost of the site fees which are a minimum of £37.00 per night) - these are all fully serviced pitches.
The site has currently reserved 7 of our 74 pitches for the weekend before the rally as long as members stay Friday and Saturday nights (6th and 7th) at £39 per night (no reduction on normal cost), and also go to the tribute event on Saturday 7th (The Rat Pack - £8 per person) - this is the same tribute act as last year. The site will hold these pitches for us for a short time only.
These 7 pitches are on the North part of the site (the original site) and people wanting to attend for this weekend will be on these pitches for the weekend and the rally. This would mean being at the site for a few nights before most members arrive for the rally. The site has also currently reserved 3 of these 7 pitches for the tribute act the following weekend (i.e. to stay for Friday 14th and Saturday 15th) to stay after the rally ends (these 3 pitches are also currently reserved until Monday 16th if needed). There is no obligation to attend both tribute weekends however these 3 pitches are currently reserved for us on this basis. The second tribute on Saturday 15th is "Oashish"a very popular Oasis tribute act - also £8 per person.
I need to know if you wish to attend the rally and which nights you wish to stay, so please email me by replying to this email. If you do not state the nights you wish to stay, I will assume just 2 nights - Tuesday and Wednesday nights. No payment is due now, but a deposit will be due to secure your place (I will email out about this in due course), then full payment made before the rally. I will confirm with you that you have been added to the list of attendees for the rally - but please bear with me as this will take time and I may not be able to respond quickly. As usual I will add people to the list in the order of email receipt which is the fairest way.

Please also let me know if you wish to be considered for one of the weekend pitches for the tribute acts, and which weekend (or both).
